Well, we officially made our selections today although a few things are still up in the air (we're not sure if we will have them do crown molding or do it ourselves, we're not sure if they will under mount our sink etc...). We are so excited!!! Now let's just get the show on the road and move in :)! As a part of our selections we opted for our builder to put our refrigerator in for us, which we chose yesterday. We are going with a stainless steel, french door Maytag. Now for some pictures of the fun stuff!!....
This picture shows our brick color with a cute, little, Barbie sized version of our shutters. We really wanted a red brick that would also pull our shutters, trim, and siding together.Brick, stone color, and Barbie shutter all together. We love the white stone and can't wait to see it all put together and actually on our house :).
This picture shows our siding color along with the brick and miniature shutter. The color is called antique silver and I absolutely love it! It is the gray color below the shutter.
Super awesome vinyl flooring! We were not so excited to find out that they no longer carried the wood floor looking vinyl, as thats what we were really hoping to get! We are still planning to put down all wood floors (at least throughout the first floor) so we chose not to upgrade the flooring. We did not upgrade the carpet either which we didn't get a picture of, but its a standard carpet. The carpet is close to the same color as the vinyl, the vinyl flooring will go in the kitchen, dining, mud room, and bathrooms.
This is a picture of our kitchen cabinet color (white) and our granite color. Our cabinets will be 42" cabinets with glass inserts in the cabinets on either side of the stove.
These are the bathroom faucets, we forgot to get pictures of the kitchen and shower fixtures...Ooops!!
White cabinets will also go in the bathroom, with a grey and white swirl, marble countertop.
Indoor and outdoor door knobs. Our front door will be black to begin with, we are debating possibly painting it red.
This is the stain color that will go on the banister. It is kind of hard to see in the photo, but it is a walnut stain. Which we hope will one day match our wood floors.
The sold sign is finally up and we couldn't be more excited!!! Keep checking back for update on our journey to becoming homeowners!!!
